WTF?! The new wave of generative AI is being used for great things - and not-so-great things. The latest application is a chatbot that allows fans of streamer Kaitlyn 'Amouranth' Siragusa to go on "dates" and chat with an AI version of her. Whether that's good or bad probably depends on how much you like the OnlyFans star.

Internet celebrity Amouranth has gained plenty of attention over the years for her controversial Twitch streams that have seen her temporarily banned from the platform and her advertising suspended.

It goes without saying that Amouranth has plenty of admirers. To help "satisfy fans' needs," she has partnered with Telegram-run chatbot company Forever Voices to launch a companion chatbot called AI Amouranth. It allows fans to talk to the AI and ask it questions as if it were the streamer herself, to which the bot will reply in a version of Amouranth's own voice, developed by Forever Voices through analysis of her livestreams, YouTube videos, and other recordings.

"With AI Amouranth, fans will receive instant voice responses to any burning questions they may have," states the press release (via Dexerto). "Whether it's a fleeting curiosity or a profound desire, Amouranth's [artificial intelligence] counterpart will be right there to provide assistance. The astonishingly realistic voice experience blurs the lines between reality and virtual interaction, creating an indistinguishable connection with the esteemed celebrity."

Amouranth has a reputation for being a shrewd businesswoman – she claims to have earned over $27 million on OnlyFans - so using her chatbot isn't free. Users have to deposit credits to unlock the bot, and interacting with it costs $1 per minute.

It's obvious that most people aren't going to be using AI Amouranth to ask about her favorite Fast and Furious movie. But the company said sexually explicit talk is allowed; a lot of customers would likely have been asking for refunds if it were prohibited.

If you have an unhealthy obsession with Amouranth and don't get out much, you can now interact with her AI via a special Telegram link.

Speaking about her AI bot, the real Amouranth said, "I thrive on taking risks and pushing boundaries. Above all, I prioritize being there for my incredible audience. AI Amouranth is designed to satisfy the needs of every fan, ensuring an unforgettable and all-encompassing experience."

This isn't the first time an AI chatbot of a female influencer has been created for fans. Snapchat influencer Caryn Majorie did the same thing, also the work of Forever Voices, so lonely people could have an "AI girlfriend" that was like talking to Caryn herself - for $1 per minute. However, she claimed the AI went rogue and started saying sexually explicit things, a step beyond the "flirty and fun" conversations it was supposed to generate.

Forever Voices founder and CEO John Meyer told Bloomberg that there were safeguards in place that allowed its AIs to detect if someone might be getting addicted to using it or exhibiting signs of mental health issues, though he didn't go into detail about how this works.
