As media streamers go, the Nvidia Shield TV Pro is pretty much the complete package, allowing you to stream 4K HDR content, manage your personal media library and play games in a multitude of different ways. But unless you’re gasping for a media hub that’s capable of console emulation, Triple-A game streaming, and running your own Plex server, the Shield TV Pro might not be for you.

The Nvidia Shield TV Pro combines a great media streaming experience with pretty extensive gaming functionality and despite the price tag I think it is well worth buying if you want the ultimate device to connect up to your 4K TV.

The new Nvidia Shield Pro doesn’t do much new, but doesn't have to in order to remain the best streaming box and retro gaming machine out there. However, the lack of a bundled controller (while retaining the previous generation's price point) harms the deal overall.
