Razer Kiyo Pro

The Kiyo pro delivers a much-needed injection of modern technology into the saturated world of webcams. The light detection sensor can run into issues, but the overall quality and recording experience is one of the best on the market.

The Razer Kiyo Pro offers an excellent image quality but has enough quirks that its $199 asking price feels too high.

We think the Kiyo Pro is an excellent high-quality webcam. HDR mode will make your calls look high quality in any business meeting or presentation. Yes, $200 is quite expensive but for a streamer that wants the best we think this is an achievable price point and worthwhile investment as it is cheaper than the DSLR route.

For the cost, it should stack up better than it does to Logitech’s Brio released in 2017. Instead, Razer made an equally pricey webcam with fewer features. If webcams ever become as tough to find in stock as they were in early 2020, it’ll be nice to have another option on the market. But presently, it’s tough to recommend this model outright.

If your lighting conditions aren’t ideal, the Razer Kiyo Pro is a capable webcam but it is expensive.
