Nvidia GeForce RTX Titan 24GB GDDR6

Overview

Titan RTX is the right card for the right customer. It's a no-brainer if you're working with large geometry models, training neural networks with large batch sizes, or inferencing trained networks using frameworks like TensorRT with support for the hardware's features. Gaming on Titan RTX doesn't make as much sense when you could have two GeForce RTX 2080 Tis for a similar price.

As was the case with all of NVIDIA’s previous Titan-branded graphics cards, the Titan RTX is a premium product with features and specifications that set it apart from consumer-class offerings and encroach on traditional pro-graphics territory. Its ultimate appeal is going to depend on your use case and budget, but on its own, this is one heck of a powerful GPU that was fun to put through its paces.

The NVIDIA TITAN RTX is the GPU to get if you want the best that money can buy. It cannot outperform a much cheaper and overclocked RTX 2080 Ti though, despite costing several hundred $ more.

It really shouldn’t surprise anyone that this isn’t a worthwhile purchase for gaming or enthusiast users. We may test the Titan RTX in Blender or other applications later – primarily after those professional applications add the ability to leverage RT and Tensor Cores – but that’s off the radar for today. If you really must spend $2500 on a GPU, get two 2080 Tis instead, although we don’t necessarily recommend that, either.
