Dell XPS 15 - 2023 (9530)

Though it looks identical to its predecessor, that's not a problem for the Dell XPS 15 OLED (2023), which packs updated internals into one of the best 15-inch Windows laptops on the market.

With its big, high-res OLED screen and powerful components, I see the XPS 15 as a good Windows-based alternative to a MacBook Pro, or as a semi-desktop-replacement system for your home office.

The Dell XPS 15 (2023) had a lot to live up to compared to its perfect-rated 2022 version, and for the most part, it succeeds quite well. But some issues here and there add up to an Ultrabook that ensures it doesn’t hold up quite the same as the older model.

The Dell XPS 15 is a good all-around machine with an attractive (if aging) design that could benefit from a new webcam and more ports.

The Dell XPS 15 (2023) model brings some modest improvements over the previous generation. It has options for Intel's newest 13th-generation CPUs and the latest Nvidia RTX 40-series graphics cards. All of that is packed into the same sleek and light package with the option for an OLED display.

The XPS 15 9530 is the content creation laptop to own if you want to balance performance with portability. Don't expect it to perform like most other laptops with the same GPU, however.

With its impressive all-purpose performance that utilizes the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card, the Dell XPS 15 once more proves to be a high-end all-purpose laptop with respectable gaming laptop abilities. It offers excellent battery life and handles most work and creative tasks, but it does have port limitations and a lacking camera.
