For the extra outlay you get a display with excellent colour accuracy, a wide range of inputs and a well-designed and highly usable menu system. Brightness, delta-E figures and contrast ratio were well within acceptable limits. Given this monitor's quality, anyone that needs great image quality should give it serious consideration.
