And that’s another point, they music you enjoy will hugely impact the pace of play, the way you play, and the way you interact with the game. In this sense, this game has no demographic beyond those who enjoy music and games, and surely that’s everybody.

Rush Bros is a really solid platform game. The levels look good, it’s fun to get through them and the combination of techno music and pulsating graphics really add an extra dimension to the genre. However, the game is too short for people looking just to complete it – it focuses itself on the more hardcore gamer, looking to get the quickest time on a level.

Overall Rush Bros is a disappointment. It is an average platformer that is let down by its poor controls. Sure, it has an ok split screen mode, but its not worth buying just for that at it’s current price. The developers are still developing this game so they might fix some of these issues in the future.

Rush Bros is a slick platformer with a cool theme and aesthetic, but one that feels like it limited its audience with its focus on speed runs. I think it could have been made a lot better if the difficulty had been tweaked to be more challenging than it is, and if the musical gimmick had been used to greater effect
