The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is definitely the wearable to consider if you're using an older Samsung smartwatch or if you're using a Galaxy phone and looking to enrich your user experience with a wearable. Starting at $449, it's certainly costlier than the similar Galaxy Watch 5, but its superb battery life and exclusive guidance features are definitely worth it.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is easily the best wearable for Android smartphone owners and it excels in all of the smartwatch categories. It's made with materials normally reserved for high-end GPS sports watches, but still priced at $450. Samsung may have missed on the Pro label, but the company nailed the watch and there is more coming in future updates. Android smartphone users no longer have to be envious of the Apple Watch and iPhone users.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro are the best Android smartwatches available right now. If you asked me to pick between my 40mm Watch 5 and the Pro, I’d actually pick the Pro. The big size wears smaller than you’d think, the touch bezel is more pleasant to use, the larger screen is easier to read, and that extra battery life comes in clutch. That’s a good enough tradeoff for me. Given a choice, I almost never opt for larger smartwatches. But hey, sometimes bigger really is better.

The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is one of the best Wear OS wearables currently available and a decent competitor to the Apple Watch 7 for any Android phone user. For the money you get a rugged smartwatch with a splash of advanced health and fitness tracking services traditionally only seen on more premium devices like the Garmin Forerunner 955. This makes the Galaxy Watch 5 one of the best all-round wearables on the market.
