Keychron K2

Overview

This is, in my opinion, one of the best accessories for Mac users, especially if you own a desktop Mac like an iMac, Mac mini, or Mac Pro. The K2 also makes for a good iPad companion with its ability to pair with up to three hosts and connect to the iPad Pro directly via USB-C.

The Keychron K2 is good for office use. The unit we tested has Gateron Brown switches, which provide a great typing experience, and you can get it with other switch types if you prefer. It's well-built and has okay ergonomics with two incline settings, but it doesn't come with a wrist rest. It's also fully compatible with both macOS and Windows.

A handy entry-level mechanical board with a good build and set of features. Watch out for scratchy switches and cheap-feeling lighting, though.

Keychron K2 V2 is a great entry-level mechanical keyboard for those who want to dive into the sea of mechanical keyboards. Moreover, if you're a Mac user, get the K2 V2 instead of spending your hard-earned money on that Magic Keyboard. If you're still not convinced then, you need to try out my MacBook's keyboard because then only you'll understand the value of a good keyboard.
