If you’re looking for a mid-price professional webcam for streaming, the Logitech C922 Pro HD Stream Webcam is the sweet spot among the company’s dozen offerings.
Despite the C922's subpar background removal and its lack of RealSense sophistication, it's still one of the best webcams on the market for raw image quality.
If you’re looking for something more heavy duty to do regular streaming sessions with, maybe look into something a bit more expensive like the Logitech Streamcam. But for everyone else, we think the Logitech C922 Pro Stream is king of the hill.
Logitech's C922 Pro Stream webcam is a great upgrade from the C920. With crisp, clear video capture and display, this affordable webcam is perfect for streamers and YouTubers alike.
The C922 is a brilliant camera and maintains the strong position in the market that the C920 holds, and while I don’t think the C920 is going anywhere anytime soon, I do think the C922 is the better option for content creators. For anyone looking for a new camera, the C922 offers excellent value, and the 720p/60 video quality makes it the superior choice over the C920, or indeed many of its competitors.
The Logitech C922 Pro is a great little webcam for anyone looking to jump into livestreaming and doesn't want to fork out lots of dosh for a high-end webcam.
The Logitech C922 Pro Stream Webcam may take a few tries to set up, but it's the cheapest alternative to a green screen for game streaming at an affordable price.
If you really want a webcam with a great picture, this is the webcam to get. This is currently the best Logitech HD Webcam, with only the 4K Pro Webcam model being better. I really wish I had bought one of these a long time ago.
The C922 is a good webcam, but that’s really it. Don’t expect it to elevate your streaming to the next level in any aspect other than video quality. With a price tag as high as it is, we expected more, especially since in order to have acceptable audio users will likely have to shell out another $150 for a microphone, or a decent headset with a quality mic. If a video capture device is all that you need and will handle audio recording using other methods, the C922 might be worth a look, but we’re not convinced that the same quality can’t be had with a lower priced solution.
